Horizon - horizon bars operation is a
combination of several pools and Restaurant area in the mina Seyahi complex. As
a horizon bar team member you will cater to the food and beverage needs of our
esteemed guest while they enjoy the sunshine and relax by sun loungers, restaurant
and the pool and grass area.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the
• Minimum 1- 2 years experience in F&B in a 5*
• Excellent communication skills and good command of
English language
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in computer
• Smart in appearance and well groomed
• Able to work outdoors
• Multiple language ability, an advantage
• To
demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high level of commitment.
• To
be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel in response to
business and client needs.
• To
attend training sessions and meeting when required and to operate in line with
the training or information received.
• Critically
evaluate own performance and consistently sets high standard.
• Willing
to share freely knowledge information, ideas and experience to assist others.
• Work
with and supports others as part of team both within and across functions
• Understands
the needs to work together to create an environment of cooperation and mutual
• Shows
awareness / sensitivity / tolerance towards cultural differences by moderating

To move into this
position you should have but not limited to the
• Minimum 2
years experience in the relevant area of a 5* Property
• An outstanding beverage knowledge,
• Formal
training on wine, cigars, teas, up-selling techniques, silver service,
cocktails and any other related courses
• Thorough
knowledge of Food & Beverage (Cocktails / Mocktails / Alcoholic Beverage,
• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management would
be highly regarded.
• Proficiency
in computer (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Micros
• Good
interpersonal skills
• Smart in
appearance and well groomed
• Multiple
language ability, an advantage
• to possess excellent communication skills both written
& verbal
• Excellent customer service skills and creative flair.
• Worked in
a High Operation with high turnover
• Physical Aspects of Position
(include but are not limited to):
• Constant
standing and walking throughout shift
• Must be
able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must
be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
• Must be
able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally.
• Requires
grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending,
climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Ability
to work outdoor (outside temperature varies from 14 C to 50 C with Humidity
of up to 100% during summer). For horizon Waiter position
