We are looking for WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT for Abu Dhbai Airport (Terminal A).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Possess a strong understanding and ensures 100% compliance to all local rules & regulations, as per the local food control authority manuals and controls.

2. Manage the handling and storage of all products (food & non-food) according to the Stock management SOP to ensure strict compliance to HACCP rules, 0% waste/shrink and a 100% optimized space utilization. Ensures that FEFO policy is constantly in use in the warehouse.

3. Perform daily warehouse checklists (opening and closing checklist, cleaning logs, etc.) using internal platforms to ensure that all the critical points are being checked.

4. Actively participates in all basic warehouse operations as per Stock management SOP, including but not limited to goods reception, storage of products in appropriate locations (shelves, chiller, freezer etc), picking, packing, organising the boxes to be dispatched to ease the loading/unloading process and assisting the truck drivers to load/unload.

5. Handle the warehouse operations smoothly by planning the daily tasks and prioritising the urgent operations.

6. Possess thorough knowledge of emergency procedures as per the Safety & Security Management SOP.

7. Maintain the warehouse operational equipment’s and manage their maintenance as per the Facility maintenance SOP.

8. Assist the Warehouse management team during the warehouse stocktake process and ensure a swift and accurate count process. Prepare the required documentation for audits.

9. Report damaged or missing inventory to the Warehouse management team.

10. Ensure workplace is free of debris and remove all safety hazards from aisles.

11. Integrate best practices in handling the warehouse products.
