Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure that all duties assigned are carried out according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company.
• Perform loading, unloading, picking, packing and packaging and / shrink wrapping of orders as per the standards stipulated as may be required from time to time.
• Perform other ‘load lifting’ activities as may be required and in a safe manner.
• Ensure that work instructions from superiors are carefully followed.
• Ensure that goods are handled into, within and out of the warehouse in a manner which will not cause damage to the goods, to the warehouse or to the delivery vehicles.
• Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy through regular housekeeping.
• Report any misconduct by contractors / drivers on site immediately.
• Always uphold the image of the company.
• Ensure that adequate safety equipment and uniform is always being worn when in the warehouse and / or yard.
• Report any and all accidents / incidents / damages or near accidents / incidents / damages immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
• Conduct stock checks and reconciliations as may be required from time to time.
• Must be willing to work overtime as may be required from time to time.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time.
• Other additional responsibilities will be advised by your direct supervisor/manager.
• Execute assigned tasks in compliant manner following internal SOP’s and GDP training
• Demonstrate constructive approach to Continues Improvement Process (CIP).
• In addition to your specific job responsibilities, you may be called upon to carry out specific assignments for the supervisor or manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school graduate
• Minimum 1 year experience as a warehouse assistant
• Knowledge of warehousing processes
• Ability to communicate in English
