As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee daily warehouse activities, including but not limited to receiving, warehousing, and dispatch of products. You ll have a key role in coordinating and ensuring that standards for productivity, quality, and safety are achieved within the warehouse environment. This position requires a blend of strong leadership capabilities, organization, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of efficient warehouse procedures as well as experience managing a team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be instrumental in developing strategies to improve productivity and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
• Coordinate the reception, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight and supplies.
• Ensure warehouse staff adhere to all safety protocols and regulations meticulously.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels to prevent any operational discrepancy.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline warehousing processes and optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance warehouse operational skills.
• Review performance metrics and key performance indicators regularly with team members.
• Investigate and resolve any operational, employee, or customer issues swiftly and effectively.
• Maintain equipment and facilities, identifying when repairs or replacement are necessary.
• Liaise with transportation and logistics departments to optimize delivery schedules.
• Prepare and deliver reports and forecasts to senior management as required.
• Ensure warehouse operations align with internal and external laws and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal abilities to manage a diverse team.
• Proficient in inventory software, databases, and systems for operational efficiency.
• Adept at problem-solving with the capability to make informed decisions quickly.
