Job Summary
Perform all necessary pesticide and fertilizer applications on golf course and landscape areas following predetermined schedules and special requests. Verify that all pesticides are applied according to label directions and that safety precautions are followed. Comply with all guidelines of state and federal statues and in such a manner as to pose the least possible risks to the employees, guests, and the environment. Maintain true and accurate records of inspections, locations, amounts and types of pest control materials utilized in the course of assigned tasks. Maintain pesticide inventory records. Maintain chemical room in a neat and orderly fashion. Supervise and train landscapers on routine golf course maintenance tasks. Monitor all pest levels and thresholds. Perform routine golf course maintenance tasks as need, including moving fairways, changing holes, and mowing greens.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Provide assistance to coworkers, verifying they understand their tasks. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; verify uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing greater than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities and aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent

At least two years of related work experience

Previous supervisory experience is required
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Guest Room Preventative Maintenance:

Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist for each room.

Individually complete rooms preventative maintenance (RPM, CARE, GCPM) process. Upon completion, rooms should be clean and all equipment and materials removed from the room.

Complete rooms preventative maintenance process for guest rooms in efficient and effective manner as measured by individual rooms inspections performed by the Director of Engineering or designee.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and general cleaning of all surfaces in guest rooms as required, including inspecting/flipping mattresses, box springs, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring that all hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, cleaning and replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout and caulking.

Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.

Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor.
Install, Maintain, and
Repair Items:

Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.

Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.

Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
Working with Others:

Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
Quality Assurance/
Quality Improvement:

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Safety and Security:

Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.

Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.

Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc., including using Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.

Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.

Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.

Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).

Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

Follow company and department policies and procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Physical Tasks:

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
