Job overview
To execute all aspects of the hotel's strategies of selling Conference and Banqueting services with special emphasis on Wedding & Social Events. Work with operations to ensure successful conference and banqueting events for our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for small to medium sized events
2. Prepare and distribute consistent, concise banquet event orders (BEOs) that clearly state all details discussed with the client that will be executed by the operations team
3. Work closely with the client and key hotel departments throughout the duration of the event - from planning to execution, being available to assist them at the appropriate times, driving excellent MSTS scores
4. Responsible for the successful outcome of assigned events from pre-event through to post-event
5. Attend BEO Meetings as well as other C&E related meetings as required
6. Work closely with the Senior Weddings Manager=
7. Ensure hotel costs are effectively controlled
8. Work closely with Banquet department to ensure all contractual terms agreed upon are carried out
9. Maintain the integrity of Delphi FDC at all times
10. Manage files, records and reporting as it pertains to: budgets, contacts, planning activities, time lines, contracts, purchase orders and post meeting notes
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Conference & Event
