Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication using MIG/TIG/ Arc welding techniques as required.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare, measure, and cut materials according to project requirements.
  • Conduct assembly and fitting of metal components and structures.
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Follow all factory safety procedures, including use of PPE and safe welding practices.
  • Identify material defects, welding issues, and report to supervisor.
  • Assist in general fabrication, grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with production team to meet daily production targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Welder certification or vocational training in welding (advantage).
  • Safety training certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a factory or industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
