Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements, ensuring precise execution of welding tasks.
- Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques for various materials, balancing efficiency and quality in every project.
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding methods, adapting techniques to suit specific tasks and materials.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds for structural integrity, identifying and correcting defects to maintain high safety standards.
- Maintain and repair welding equipment, ensuring tools are in optimal working condition to facilitate uninterrupted workflow.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to troubleshoot design issues, providing expert insights to improve overall project outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, actively promoting a culture of workplace safety among team members.
- Document welding processes and maintain accurate records of completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical certificate in welding or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on welding experience in industrial or construction environments, demonstrating a solid work history.
- Positive attitude and teamwork orientation, fostering collaboration and support within the welding team and across departments.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity, capable of working in various positions and environments while maintaining precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in every project.
