Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements, ensuring precise execution of welding tasks.
- Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques for various materials, balancing efficiency and quality in every project.
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding methods, adapting techniques to suit specific tasks and materials.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds for structural integrity, identifying and correcting defects to maintain high safety standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical certificate in welding or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on welding experience in industrial or construction environments, demonstrating a solid work history.
- Certification in welding processes from recognized organizations, such as AWS or ASME, showcasing professional competency.
- Experience with various welding methods, including MIG, TIG, and stick, with a proven ability to adapt to different materials.
