HIRING: ADNOC Approved Welding Engineer (IWE Certified)
We are seeking an ADNOC-approved Welding Engineer with valid IWE certification for an immediate joining in our ADNOC project.
Job Description:
The Welding Engineer (IWE Certified)will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing welding procedures, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes, and project specifications. The candidate will oversee welding activities at the site??, support QA/QC functions, and coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors to ensure all welding works meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), prepare Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and conduct Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) in accordance with ADNOC Standards and International codes (ASME, AWS, ISO, API etc.).
- Supervise and monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, and project requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis of welding defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with ADNOC representatives, third-party inspection agencies, and QA/QC teams for inspection and approval of welding activities.
- Maintain detailed records of welding consumables, welder performance, and inspection reports.
- Provide technical support and training to welders and fabrication teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards during welding operations.
- Participate in audits and ensure readiness for ADNOC inspections.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- ADNOC approval as Welding Engineer (valid)
- IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification– 5+years of exp. mandatory
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in welding related activities within Oil & Gas projects
- Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, BS EN standards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Available to join immediately
