The Welding Supervisor is a pivotal role within our manufacturing team, responsible for overseeing the welding operations to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The Welding Supervisor will coordinate with the production team to optimize workflows, maintain equipment, and ensure all welding work is carried out in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities and performance of all welding staff and processes.
• Ensure all welding work complies with industry and company safety standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to align welding tasks with overall project schedules.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot welding processes to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor welders to enhance their skills and adhere to best practices.
• Maintain all welding equipment and materials, scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Monitor the quality control processes to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Develop and implement policies to improve welding procedures and reduce defects.
• Prepare regular reports on welding operations and team performance for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation of welding procedures and inspections are maintained.
• Collaborate with the engineering team for the development of new welding methods.
• Conduct regular safety audits to minimize hazards and prevent accidents on site.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role within welding.
• In-depth knowledge of welding processes, materials, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven skills in managing and inspiring teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex welding issues.
• Proficiency in welding equipment and a solid understanding of technical drawings.
• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with staff and management.
• Relevant certifications in welding supervision or inspection are highly desirable.
