Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• � Workshop Operations Management: o Plan, organize, and control daily workshop activities. o Supervise mechanics, technicians. o Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. • � Fleet Maintenance & Readiness: o Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of tippers, trailers, prime movers, car carriers, and flatbeds. o Ensure vehicles are serviced on time and meet regulatory requirements. o Reduce breakdowns and downtime through effective maintenance planning. • � Resource & Cost Control: o Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. o Control maintenance costs and optimize resource utilization. o Prepare maintenance schedules and reports for management. • � Coordination & Support: o Work closely with operations and project manager to align vehicle availability with business needs. o Support revenue generation by ensuring maximum fleet uptime.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, & Vehicle computer programming. • Proven at least 5 years’ experience in workshop management and heavy vehicle maintenance. • Strong knowledge of transport vehicles (tippers, trailers, prime movers, etc.). • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and MS Office.
