Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC duct systems to ensure optimal air distribution and energy efficiency.
- Conduct thorough assessments of ductwork for leaks, insulation, and airflow issues, providing solutions to enhance performance.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as duct mastic and sealing tape, to achieve airtight systems.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and engineers to design duct layouts that maximize airflow and meet building codes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC systems is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in duct installation and maintenance, particularly in commercial settings.
- HVAC certification or relevant trade qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards related to ductwork and HVAC systems.
