AC Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various types of air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions, leaks, or breakdowns in AC units and components.
• Clean and replace air filters, coils, and other system components as needed.
• Test and adjust system controls to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts and equipment, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and fans.
• Conduct system performance evaluations to identify and resolve issues affecting cooling capacity and energy efficiency.
• Perform refrigerant handling and disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including equipment history and service reports.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond to emergency service calls and address customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with customers regarding maintenance procedures and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and safety regulations related to HVAC systems.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance tasks.
