Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and active Mechanical Technician / Pipe Fitter with experience in chilled water systems. The candidate will be responsible for installation of BTU meters, pipe fittings, valves, and related mechanical works in residential, commercial, and district cooling projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install BTU meters (flow meters, temperature sensors, calculators) in chilled water pipelines.
Perform pipe cutting, threading, grooving, welding, and fitting works.
Install and modify chilled water piping systems (steel, GI, copper, HDPE as required).
Install valves (PICV, balancing valves, isolation valves) and related accessories.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and leak testing of installed systems.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to complete work as per schedule.
Maintain safety standards and follow company HSE procedures.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years experience in chilled water or district cooling projects.
Experience in mechanical installation
Good knowledge of pipe fittings and chilled water systems.
Physically fit, hardworking, and proactive.
Team player with good discipline and work ethics.
Preferred:
Experience in UAE/GCC projects.
Basic understanding of pressure testing and flushing procedures.
Welding skills will be advantage
Driving license will be advantage +500AED
