As an AC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and air quality of residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Your expertise will be utilized in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a profound understanding of HVAC systems are essential. You will work in various environments and must be able to adapt to new and emerging technologies in the HVAC industry. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems efficiently.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems accurately and quickly.
• Clean and replace air ducts, filters, and other system components as needed.
• Modify or upgrade systems to increase energy efficiency and meet regulatory standards.
• Interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for installation jobs.
• Provide clients with cost estimates for installations, repairs, or maintenance services.
• Maintain records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on jobs.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards, and with occupational health and safety codes.
• Stay updated with advancements in HVAC technology and share knowledge with the team.
• Ensure excellent customer service delivery through effective communication and timely responses.
• Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices in HVAC systems maintenance and repair.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is preferred for technicians.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar technical role in HVAC.
• Certification in HVAC or a related field from a recognized organization is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, and electronic components.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and undertake strenuous physical tasks as necessary.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and emergency repairs.
