Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the preschool s academic curriculum to ensure alignment with best practices in early childhood education.
- Support and mentor teaching staff in the delivery of educational programs, providing guidance on instructional strategies and classroom management.
- Coordinate and schedule regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address any academic or developmental concerns.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international educational standards and regulations.
- Oversee the integration of social and emotional learning into daily classroom activities.
- Facilitate the use of innovative teaching materials and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, student assessments, and staff development activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that reflects the values and mission of Under 5 International Preschool.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education or academic coordination.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation for preschool or early childhood programs.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with staff, parents, and children.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support teaching staff in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to analyze student data and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
