Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Academic Director will oversee curriculum development, instructional quality, assessment practices, and faculty growth ensuring that every classroom reflects innovation, rigor, and best educational practices. By mentoring teachers, strengthening academic programs, and promoting student success, the Academic Director plays a vital role in elevating the school s overall performance.

A central part of this role is fostering meaningful communication with parents, students, faculty, and school leadership. The Academic Director ensures that families feel supported, teachers receive continuous professional guidance, and students are equipped to reach their full potential.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Master's degree in Education (M.Ed., M.A.Ed., M.A., or M.S.) required
Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred
Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience in a reputable international or national school
Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience as a Head of Department (HOD) or Head of School
Strong background in curriculum planning, teacher development, and academic supervision
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administration to enhance school performance
Experience working in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia
