Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within a defined territory or industry vertical, focusing on high-potential accounts.
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts to understand their business needs, challenges, and key decision-makers, tailoring outreach accordingly.
- Initiate outbound communication (calls, emails, social media) to prospective clients, building rapport and generating interest in the company's solutions.
- Qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria, assessing their fit and potential for conversion into qualified opportunities for the sales team.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives with qualified leads, maximizing their time and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions, activities, and progress in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and the company's product offerings to effectively position solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings set, and opportunities created, contributing to overall sales goals.
- Continuously refine and optimize lead generation strategies based on performance data and feedback, ensuring ongoing improvement.
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within a defined territory or industry vertical through strategic outbound prospecting.
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts to understand their needs, challenges, and potential solutions your company offers, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation of business principles and concepts.
- Brings 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry, indicating a familiarity with the target market.
- Exhibits fluency in English and any other relevant languages depending on the target market, such as German or French, facilitating effective communication with a diverse clientele.
- Displays exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, enabling them to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and deliver compelling pitches.
- Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, driven by a passion for achieving goals.
- Possesses a resilient and adaptable personality, embracing challenges, learning from setbacks, and remaining motivated in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing a high volume of leads and activities.
