Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Process incoming payments and reconcile with customer accounts
  • Maintain accurate aging reports and escalate overdue accounts as needed
  • Generate and issue customer credit notes in accordance with contractual terms
  • Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all billing activities
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of receivable accounts
  • Prepare AR reports including aging analysis, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and collection forecasts
  • Manage AR Customer Ledger & Receipt Clearing (collections, allocation, tax invoices in SAP, SOA reconciliation, and dispute resolution)
Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure mailing of statements and credit notes by the 5th of every month for assigned outlets
  • Follow and apply credit policies and SOPs
  • Conduct monthly physical inventory counts and resolve variances
  • Perform quarterly SOA confirmation for allocated customers
  • Verify and record customer-issued tax invoices within 30 days of receipt
Communication & Coordination
  • Maintain acceptable communication standards for customer interactions regarding payments and discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Purpose

To manage and execute all aspects of the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collections, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Nationality Omani required.

Experience & Skills Required
  • Experience: 4 5 years in Accounts Receivable
  • Industry Preference: FMCG experience in AR / credit
  • Technical Skills: SAP or Oracle experience
  • Availability: Preferably available in Oman
  • Work Ethic: Willingness to work late hours
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance & Accounting
  • Age Range: 30 40 years
