About the Role: We are looking for a meticulous Accountant based in Hyderabad, Telangana to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with GST regulations, and deliver accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will leverage Tally and MS Excel expertise to maintain books of accounts, oversee payables and receivables, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions Maintain general ledger, perform bookkeeping entries, and reconcile accounts Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports Handle GST return filings and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts on a monthly basis Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports Collaborate with finance team to improve processes and controls Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency in Tally ERP for accounting and financial management Strong knowledge of GST filing processes and compliance Hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable management Expertise in financial reporting and analysis Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables Solid understanding of taxation and bookkeeping principles Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA) or progress towards certification Experience with additional ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
