Roles & Responsibilities

Accountant – Furniture Industry
Location: Ajman, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for our furniture business. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, experience in UAE accounting practices, and mandatory hands-on experience with ZOHO Books and related ZOHO applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receivables, and payables.

  • Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery-related documentation.

  • Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.

  • Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

  • Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances.

  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and management teams for financial documentation.

  • Generate monthly financial reports, profit/loss statements, and management reports.

  • Maintain supplier accounts and payment schedules.

  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.


Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in UAE.

  • Mandatory experience with ZOHO Books and ZOHO accounting systems.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

  • Experience in furniture, retail, or interior-related industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling inventory and purchase accounting.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and cash flow management.

  • Candidates available in UAE preferred.

  • Immediate joiners will have an advantage.
