Job Description

  • The General Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions of the publishing and distribution company. The role includes recording journal entries, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, handling invoices, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The accountant will manage payments, monitor expenses, support budgeting activities, and coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate financial records. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work with tight deadlines. Experience in the publishing or distribution sector is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 4 years of experience in general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, ERP).
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in publishing or distribution is an added advantage.
