Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
ESS AE Holding is looking for detail-oriented and motivated Accountants to support financial operations across its associated establishments in Egypt and Libya. The candidates will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including entries, ledger posting, and reconciliations
Maintain accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT, and statutory requirements
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring
Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documents
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
Assist in ERP/accounting system data entry and maintenance
Desired Candidate Profile
Nationality:
Egypt Role: Egyptian National Preferred
Libya Role: Any nationality willing to relocate to Libya
Experience:
Minimum 3–8 years of accounting experience
Experience in multi-company or group structure is an advantage
Prior exposure to MENA region accounting practices preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Mandatory)
Certifications (Preferred):
ACCA / CMA (Partially Qualified or Pursuing)
CPA Inter or equivalent is an added advantage
Technical Skills:
Basic to intermediate knowledge of IFRS
Familiarity with tax and VAT regulations (Egypt/Libya preferred)
Experience in ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Proficiency in MS Excel
Language Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and English (Mandatory)
