We are looking for a experience Accountant who would like to join an International Oil & Gas company to work in Mexico City.
Function description
As an Accountant you will be required to perform with the following duties:
• Responsible for preparing the quarterly financial statements to be presented to local authorities.
• Responsible for monthly closing entries such as provisions and tax accounting for all entities in Mexico.
• In charge of monthly balance reconciliations.
• Ensures continuous compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the banking module in SAP.
• In charge of loans and cash pooling entries.
• Provides support for internal and external audits of financial statements.
Requirements
In addition to having experience in this field, you must comply with the following requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• More than ten (10) years of experience in accounting processes and month-end
• procedures (preferred experience in the oil and gas industry).
• Proven knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Demonstrated competence in ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Experience in the Energy sector and legislation (Hydrocarbons Law).
• Advanced English (Is a most-have).
