Roles & Responsibilities
Role OverviewAs an Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Finance Manager with all financial activities to ensure that targeted reporting requirements are met as directed by the management. As part of our Abdulla Al Masaood and Sons Motorcycles LLC (Harley- Davidson) team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, making optimal use of resources and adhering strictly to company policies encapsulated in the Dealer Operating Manual. You will be responsible for the efficient management and administration of banking, petty cash, purchase ledger, and sales ledger activities, directly contributing to the company's financial accuracy and operational compliance.ResponsibilitiesApply proper banking procedures and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.Manage payment of authorized petty cash vouchers and record all transactions accurately.Perform daily reconciliation of sales and cash for all branches and departments; resolve discrepancies immediately.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.Ensure timely and accurate input in both Sales and Purchase ledgers.Prepare payments to suppliers for Finance Manager s approval and conduct suppliers reconciliations monthly.Assist with monthly and year-end financial accounts closing.Support external audit requirements by providing requested documentation and collaborating efficiently with auditors.Participate in quarterly, half-year, and annual Parts and Merchandise stock takes as required.Coordinate with the HR department and prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.Maintain organized and timely filing of documents.Ensure issuance of LPOs prior to non-stock ordering activities.Contribute to performance appraisals and continual feedback for process improvement.Attend relevant training courses as identified with the Finance Manager to support your professional development.Must Have RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Finance or related discipline.Minimum 3 years experience within an automotive finance department, ideally with UAE experience.Proficiency in MS Dynamics or comparable ERP financial software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Meticulous attention to financial detail and accuracy.Demonstrated capability with reconciliations and ledger management.High ethical standards and total integrity in financial practices.Nice To Have RequirementsExperience in additional ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance.Exposure to process improvement or automation within a finance department.Prior involvement with year-end audits or retail stock-takes in the automotive sector.
