Responsibilities:

• Recording financial transactions: This involves accurately recording financial transactions such as invoices, payments, and expenses in the organization s accounting system.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable: This involves monitoring and managing accounts payable (money owed by the organization to vendors and suppliers) and accounts receivable (money owed to the organization by customers).
• Preparing financial statements: Accountants are responsible for preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Accountants may be responsible for developing and managing budgets, as well as forecasting future financial performance.
• Tax preparation: Accountants may be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for the organization.
• Internal auditing: Accountants may be responsible for conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and identify areas for improvement.
• Financial analysis: Accountants may be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for financial decision-making.
• Technology implementation: Accountants may be responsible for implementing and managing accounting software and other financial technologies.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders: Accountants may need to liaise with internal stakeholders, such as other departments and management, as well as external stakeholders such as auditors, vendors, and customers.
