Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws

  • Support audits and coordinate with external auditors

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements

  • Manage expense reports, payroll entries, and petty cash

  • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

  • Maintain and improve internal accounting controls and procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant (preferably in the UAE)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE tax regulations

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Tally)

  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
