Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the QuickBooks Online/Desktop company file, including chart of accounts and vendor/customer setups.
  • Record daily transactions, including accounts payable (bills, payments) and accounts receivable (invoicing, customer payments).
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate monthly income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage payroll processing and prepare data for payroll taxes; assist with sales tax calculations and filings.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an accountant using QuickBooks.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Desktop is essential.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills.

  • QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus.

  • Also able to forecast cash flow, monitor financial trends, and generate financial projections using QuickBooks reporting and analytics tools.
