Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, general ledgers, and account reconciliations.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and support the preparation of VAT returns as needed.

  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlements.

  • Support the finance team in variance analysis and reporting.

  • Manage bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

  • Maintain organized documentation and filing for all accounting records.

  • Conduct banking activities outside the office when required.

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers for account reconciliation and resolution of financial

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Zoho Books is an advantage).

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience in audit coordination.

  • Familiarity with corporate tax (CIT) implementation in the UAE.

  • Good command of English.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
