Accountant

Location: Maadi Street, Cairo Egypt (preference will be given to candidates residing in the area or nearby locations).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
2. Work on preparing and monitoring the budget, analyzing variances between actual and planned figures.
3. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including timely processing of invoices and collections using accounting systems.
4. Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
5. Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
6. Coordinate with external auditors during audit periods by providing required financial data and reports.
7. Stay up to date with the latest accounting regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
8. Work efficiently with an ERP system to manage and record financial transactions (prior experience with ERP systems is preferred).

Required Software Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and financial data analysis.
