Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of inventory transactions in the ERP system.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
Maintain stock control procedures to prevent losses, waste, and errors.
Track inventory aging, expiration, and waste (especially perishable agricultural items).
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best accounting practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree of commerce or any similar degrees
Experience of minimum 2 years is required
Analytical and numeracy skills: A strong ability to analyze data and perform calculations is essential.
Attention to detail: Meticulousness is crucial for accuracy in financial records.
Organization: Being organized and efficient is key to managing financial tasks.
Adaptability: Accountants must be able to adapt to stressful situations and changes in the field.
Residents of El Sadat city or neighboring areas are preferred.
