Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage overall accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage project accounting, including WIP, budgets, costs, contract billing, and retention
Supervise and guide the accounting team
Ensure financial controls, compliance, and internal policies
Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience preferably in Contracting / Construction / Oil & Gas / Power Plant industries
Managerial experience is mandatory
Experience as Finance Manager in small companies is acceptable with strong accounting expertise
Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional certifications (CA / ACCA / CPA preferred)
Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting and managerial experience, preferably from Contracting, Construction, Oil & Gas, Power Plant, or project-based companies.
Candidates with experience as a Finance Manager in small-scale companies are also welcome to apply if they demonstrate strong accounting expertise and leadership capabilities.
This is a senior-level position responsible for managing the accounting function independently, supervising staff, and handling project-based financial operations.
