Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Keep clear and accurate records of household income, expenses, and petty cash.
  • Prepare simple monthly and annual financial summaries for the family.
  • Make sure all bills, school fees, utilities, and other payments are handled on time.
  • Manage payroll and records for household staff.
  • Work with banks, insurance providers, and outside accountants when needed.
  • Organize financial documents and assist with tax or compliance requirements.
  • Track budgets and provide updates on savings or spending trends.
  • Support in planning for family-related financial goals such as travel, education, or investments.

Desired Candidate Profile

2 3 years of accounting or finance experience.

  • Good knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Clear communication skills to present financial updates in a simple way.
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
