Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and budgeting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and tax returns, providing insights to management for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial records, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

  • Qualifications: Proven experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification is highly desirable.

  • Industry of Work Experience: Experience in the Oil & Gas, Construction or Manufacturing sector is advantageous.

  • Years of Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
