Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and budgeting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and tax returns, providing insights to management for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while adhering to strict deadlines.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial records, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
Qualifications: Proven experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification is highly desirable.
Industry of Work Experience: Experience in the Oil & Gas, Construction or Manufacturing sector is advantageous.
Years of Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
