Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to track outstanding receivables and follow up with clients as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and support for all receivable transactions.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all receivable activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on receivable status and collection efforts for management review.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities to improve receivable processes and recommend best practices.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls in all receivable activities.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the real estate or construction industry is a plus.
