Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant tax requirements, and manage tax filings.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of financial data.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Possesses a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on UAE financial regulations and practices.
  • UAE National with a strong understanding of local business environment and cultural nuances.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
