Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support business decision-making.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and report on key accounting metrics, identifying trends and variances.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of import/export industry accounting practices is a plus.
