Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for foodstuff packing and distribution operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Evaluate cost structures and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the food distribution or FMCG sector is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
