Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: -
- Assist in developing and/or validating economic assessments for business development or portfolio optimization transactions.
- Support transaction advisory activities, including commercial development and transaction structuring.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to guide investment decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, project gate requirements, and documentation standards.
- Participate as a finance representative on project teams as required.
- Evaluate and assess the economic impact of corporate projects on Upstream business.
- Provide governance assurance through commercial and economic assessment of transaction proposals.
Minimum requirements
As the successful candidate you will have: -
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized and approved program
- At least 5 experiences in financial analysis preferably in the oil & gas or energy sector
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and economic evaluation.
- Familiarity with investment evaluation guidelines and capital planning processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized and approved program
At least 5 experiences in financial analysis preferably in the oil & gas or energy sector
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and economic evaluation.
Familiarity with investment evaluation guidelines and capital planning processes.
