Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of financial information to management

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies to maintain the integrity of financial records

  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with financial institutions and internal departments

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, and payments to support audits and financial reviews

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests

  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts

  • Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and reports

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company procedures

  • Assist with data entry and maintain accounting systems and databases

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

  • Professional certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or Any certification that is equivalent is an advantage

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any accounting software

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Location: Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi

  • Salary: Starting from AED 3,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
