Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of client accounts, transactions, and balances. Process receipts, payments, and transfers in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, Corporate Tax and client accounts rules. Liaise with lawyers and clients regarding invoices, settlements, and account queries. Monitor outstanding client balances and follow up on payments when necessary. Prepare client account reports and statements for management review. Support audits and provide documentation as required. Assist in the implementation of accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, CMA etc) is preferred but not required. Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a Law Firm or Corporate Service Provider environment is an advantage. Experience in Zoho, QuickBooks. Strong knowledge of client accounting, accounting principles, client money regulations, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulation is a must. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English. High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast faced environment. Preferably Filipino
