Accounting Director

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to local, regional, and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance accounting operations and reporting capabilities.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and SAP Exposure is a must
