Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in tourism companies and proficiency in ERP Systems accounting programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting programs and training accountants on their effective use. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of financial management in the tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Program Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP Systems accounting programs, ensuring they meet the company's financial management needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Training and Development:
- Design and deliver training programs for accountants on the effective use of ERP Systems, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing the software for financial reporting, analysis, and other accounting functions.
- Develop user manuals and documentation to support the training process.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the tourism industry, with a focus on ERP Systems and financial management.
- Skills:
- Strong technical skills in ERP Systems accounting programs, with experience in implementing and managing these systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team of accountants.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
