Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.

  • Conduct regular training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up-to-date.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Implement effective performance management and feedback processes.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive team culture.
  • Ensure tax interviews are conducted properly with clients.
  • Review corporate and personal income tax returns to verify accuracy.
  • Advise business owners and individuals on tax code interpretations and planning.
  • Oversee the processing of state payroll taxes.
  • Proactively identify and address potential compliance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the firm's tax practices meet all legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintain current client relationships and cultivate new ones.
  • Implement effective tax consultation and onboarding procedures for new clients.
  • Provide exceptional client service and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve shared organizational goals.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.

Minimum 4 years experience in real estate Development

Minimum 10 years of experience working in accounting

Extensive corporate, costing and personal tax experience.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Consistent, Accurate, and Strong attention to detail.

Outstanding communication skills, organizational skills, and aptitude for numbers.br>
