Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the accounting section, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, including bank, vendor, and customer accounts.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years and up to 9 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (local and international).
  • Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
