Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Support

  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Promote a collaborative and accountable team culture.
  • Support the team in resolving complex accounting issues.

Core Accounting Operations

  • Oversee AR and AP processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and controls.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.
  • Support automation and ERP system enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 8 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including AR/AP.
  • Minimum 2 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
