Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts and Admin Assistant to support our procurement division. This role involves handling administrative tasks and assisting with accounts management to ensure smooth operations within the building materials and construction sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

  • Maintain and update financial records and documents for the procurement division.

  • Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.

  • Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts and administrative roles, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
