Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To implement the commercial strategy for Salalah Free Zone Company (SFZCO) aligned to the organisation s overarching objectives, and to build strong relationships with current investors, maintain and grow investments in the free zone.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Account Management

  • Create and develop relationships with current operating companies and potential investors, ensuring that they receive all the required support for the execution of the investment plans and activities.
  • Be the single point of contact for all operating companies issues and matters

Market Analysis

  • Analyse market trends and characteristics across the assigned sectors in order to identify opportunities that meet and support growing the operating companies investments.
  • Study upstream and downstream investment opportunities for the operating companies under management.

Investor Attraction

  • Work closely with Business Development team to attract investments that can link with the operating companies under management.

Investment Planning

  • Review operating companies investment plans, assess their degree of compliance with SFZCO s strategic priorities and propose changes and improvements to ensure mutually beneficial efficiencies for both the investor and SFZCO.

Policies and Procedures

  • Follow all relevant divisional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment

  • Comply with all relevant quality, health, security, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures, report incidents and hazards in a timely manner, and reduce consumption of natural resources to assist in protecting the environment and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Ad-hoc Requests

  • Perform additional duties in line with the current role, as and when requested by the Senior Business Development Manager.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or any related specialisation.

Experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in a relevant field,

  • Relationship building skills.

  • Negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Arabic and English language skills.

Working Environment

  • Office environment 50%
