In this role, will lead and manage the AR team to ensure efficient operations and compliance with company policies. This role involves strategic oversight of the AR cycle, team leadership, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Manage AR Operations: Oversee the full AR cycle, including invoicing, collection, and reconciliation, for assigned entities or regions
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, tax compliance, and proper supporting documentation.
• Perform timely cash application and investigate unapplied or unidentified payments.
• Review and Analyze AR aging reports and take proactive measures to address outstanding balances.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including AR reconciliations and reporting.
• Analyze customer accounts and maintain up-to-date credit and payment records.
• Oversee the calculation and application of allowances and BDR in the AR process according to company policies and accounting standards.
• Manage the write-off process for uncollectible accounts in line with the company's policies and business approvals./p>

  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing or payment disputes. Act as a link between departments to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.

• Coordinate and ensure the creation of the Standard Operating Procedure for the processes ensuring the process s accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding activities within the customer s system.
• Mentor and support AR team members, providing guidance and training to enhance team effectiveness and professional development.
• Monitor team performance against key metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and the Invoice-to-cash cycle.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management, with a focus on leadership roles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive process improvements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong command of English (B2 Level).

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Professional Certification / diploma as CMA, IFRS are preferred.
• Interest in automation, AI Initiatives, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in French is an advantage.
